Part of winning the best photo contest for the LA County Fair is getting one’s own photography show. This is the first year that they’re opening half of the show up to the amateur winner. Thomas Canavan, Creative Arts and Special Project Manager at the Pomona Fairplex said it was because of “a strong collection of work” in his submission. The show is presented by the Millard Sheets Art Center and presented and hosted at The Photoshoot Factory. While Art Walk will only be September 8th and October 13th, the show will be up to see throughout the months during the venue’s normal operating hours, which are not normal business hours so check in.
